Abstract | Observações simultâneas de temperatura em solos sob áreas com diferentes coberturas vegetais, situadas entre 0º e 2º S no leste da Amazônia foram analisadas nesse trabalho. No experimento, realizado como parte do projeto Milênio-LBA, foram coletados dados no período de 21/12/2001 a 28/05/2005 em 5, 20 e 50 cm de profundidade sob floresta nativa (Caxiuanã), manguezal (Bragança), pastagem (Soure) e área agrícola (Igarapé-Açu). Os resultados apresentados mostram a variabilidade sazonal entre as épocas chuvosa e seca, bem como a variação diurna dos parâmetros às profundidades citadas, em cada local do experimento. Portanto já podem ser utilizados preliminarmente nos modelos existentes de tempo e clima que incluem os perfis de temperatura em solos sob cada tipo de ecossistema. Conquanto existam consideráveis diferenças entre os solos e o clima entre os sítios selecionados, esse estudo mostra que o fator preponderante nas diferenças de regimes térmicos locais é a cobertura vegetal. Soil temperatures were measured simultaneously at four experimental sites, with different vegetation covers, located between 0º and 2º S in eastern Amazon. The data collection was made between 21 december, 2001 and 20 February, 2005 as part of the Millenium LBA Project, at 5, 20 and 50 cm depths, beneath native forest (Caxiuanã), natural mangrove (Bragança), pasture (Soure) and a cultivated area (Igarapé-Açu). The results presented show the seasonal variabilities of soil temperatures for dry and rainy periods, as well as their hourly average values for each site. Therefore, the results presented may be used preliminarily by existing weather and climate models which include soil temperature profiles in soils, under different ecosystem types. Even though considerable differences exist among the soil and climates at the selected sites studied, it is shown that, the dominant factor for the differences in the local soil thermal regimes, is their vegetation cover. |
